As irc regulars know the HCS staff, whom we all refer to as the Cows, stopped in much earlier this year and invited us to help test out a new UI for the game. Since then jt^ stops in pretty often to chat and hoof has made appearances also. Things are reaching a culmination and today the new system is going live with an option of using the old version for a limited time. We don’t know what will happen to the alpha server but time will tell.
If you are lucky, and have questions or concerns or issues with the new UI you might just catch an HCS staff member visiting us in irc and be able to get a word in about it. No promises though. Bionic Bovine seems to have gone into a sulk because of thwarted flirtations or perhaps ignored overtures.
So mind your manners, and bring your best stomping boots because we expect to see things hopping and I for one would really rather not have to do some thumping of heads to go with it. If in doubt, check the MOTD for what the rules are, where to file your complaints or send your bribes. If you are new to our site then you should be reading the MOTD anyway because ignorance of the rules is no excuse.
