Here you will find all you need to know about nicknames and NickServ. This help is aimed for people who are just getting started on IRC and explains how to register and link nicknames.
Getting Started.
The first thing to do is register your nickname. This will make the nickname yours, and allow you to use the other services that FallenSwordIRC.com offers. Without a registered nickname, you wont be able to do very much.
Once you have registered your nickname, you should check out how to identify so that when you connect to irc, you know how to tell NickServ your password. You can also link multiple nicknames[link] together, you can update your NickServ options[link] and even register your own channel[link]
